Dear St. Rita School Families,
I hope this message finds you well. As we move through February, I wanted to share some important updates.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
We are excited to announce that our Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held next Thursday evening. For our K3-5 families, please sign up for your preferred time slots. Middle School teachers and specialists will be available in the their classrooms on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to discuss your child's progress and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Valentine's Day Classroom Parties
Our classroom Valentine's parties are scheduled for Thursday, February 13th, at 2:00 p.m. The students are looking forward to celebrating with their classmates, and we appreciate our room parents’ help in making these events special.
Stuff the Bus Success
A huge thank you to all our families for your incredible support of our "Stuff the Bus" initiative. With your help, the Siena schools were able to donate a significant amount of items to local food pantries. Your generosity makes a difference in our community!
Heart Association Fundraiser
Next week, we will kick off our Heart Association fundraiser. This is a great opportunity for our students to learn about heart health and contribute to a worthy cause. More details will be shared soon.
Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. Together, we continue to make St. Rita School a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow.
Warm regards,
Beth Woodward
Principal, St. Rita School

We had so much fun kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge! Alongside this year’s heart heroes, we’re learning about healthy hearts and life lessons like staying active, asking for help, resting well, and being kind. Bonus: your student will get a free wristband for signing up using the AHA Schools app or using the link below.

To begin the process please fill out the short survey below and someone from the Siena Admissions Office will reach out to you. Siblings of current Siena students have priority for a seat in the K3, K4, and K5 classrooms.

Siena Schools offers a financial aid application, through Blackbaud Financial Aid, that will open February 1, 2025, closing April 15, 2025 for the 25-26 school year.
When starting the online financial aid application, search Siena Catholic Schools and then select the specific Siena location desired. You will need your 2024 income information for this application.
Tuition contracts for the 25-26 school year may be ready for your digital signature prior to the aid application results. This is not a concern. We ask that you sign the contract by the assigned deadline even if you applied for aid. Once the aid application is processed, the contract will be updated by the finance office to reflect the new tuition rate. You will not need to re-sign the contract.
Any questions please let us know and an Admissions & Financial Aid team member will be in touch with you!
If you haven't completed your choice program online application for the 2025-26 school year, please consider completing the process this week! The February open enrollment ends Monday, February 20, 2025. Please remember that February is the only month that will guarantee your child(ren)’s seat in their current school for the 2025-26 school year.
When searching for your current school, please select the "Siena Catholic Schools" option. If you did complete the online form, you will need to turn in the verification documents before the February 20th deadline. To submit verification documents, you may email mlopez@sienacatholicschools.org , drop off at the school office or at the Siena Financial Aid Office located at 1220 Villa St.

Tablesetters - Community Service Group
Children in kindergarten through 8th grade are welcome to participate in the community service group at St. Rita called Tablesetters. We meet once a month to learn about Catholic social teaching and participate in service opportunities which reflect those teachings. Some examples of projects from the past are: making dog toys for the Humane Society, collecting winter clothes for a local school, making "blessing bags" for the patrons of the St. Patrick's meal program, planting bulbs on the St. Rita grounds, making scarves and hats for the Hospitality Center, and making cards for our homebound parishioners. Participation in Tablesetters gives students the opportunity to play a real part in the local and global work of serving our community. It's fun to work together in helping others! Please fill out the form that was sent home with your child and return it to school before our first meeting.
