Dear St. Rita Families,
I hope this message finds you well. As we wrap up another busy week, I want to extend my gratitude to our wonderful parents, dedicated students, and hardworking teachers for their efforts during Forward testing. Your support has been invaluable, and we appreciate that our students came focused and ready to show us what they know.
Upcoming Events and Reminders:

Tablesetters - Community Service Group
Children in kindergarten through 8th grade are welcome to participate in the community service group at St. Rita called Table setters. We meet once a month to learn about Catholic social teaching and participate in service opportunities which reflect those teachings. Some examples of projects from the past are: making dog toys for the Humane Society, collecting winter clothes for a local school, making "blessing bags" for the patrons of the St. Patrick's meal program, planting bulbs on the St. Rita grounds, making scarves and hats for the Hospitality Center, and making cards for our homebound parishioners. Participation in Tablesetters gives students the opportunity to play a real part in the local and global work of serving our community. It's fun to work together in helping others! Please fill out the form that was sent home with your child and return it to school before our first meeting.
Children's Liturgy of the Word will be offered on two more Sundays at the 10:30 Mass during this school year. Join us on Sun. Apr. 6 and Sun. May 4. Children have the opportunity to hear God's word proclaimed and explained in an engaging way.
