Wow! This is hard to believe the end of year is upon us! I will share it has been another amazing year and your children have been a delight! The staff and I are extremely grateful that you elected St. Rita's for your child's education. I cannot thank you enough! I pray you share all of the wonderful things about St. Rita's and we continue to grow!
Goodbyes are never easy for me so I will leave it as, I promise I will be back to see everyone next year. I will always (always) treasure the special moments that each of your child(ren) provided me. Their smiles, hugs, laughter, joys and even tears! All are beautiful. I have been unbelievable blessed!
I will hold all the memories forever in my heart. And, look back on the many videos we all shared together! God will continue to work in His mysterious ways to provide St. Rita everything the school, staff, students and families need. Bless you all!
I will be posting the video soon of the Festa St. Rita and our Carnival! A big shout out to Ms. LaCanne and our third graders who did a fabulous job of sharing with us all about St. Rita's life. The two biggest takeaways are LOVE AND PEACE! Give both away and you will have much happiness.
I am super excited to promote our 8th graders on June 1. We have an dynamic group of 8th graders and honored to share that they will move on and do many great things in the world. They are caring, loving, kind and ambitous! I know they will represent St. Rita's well.
Speaking of graduation, my daughter will be graduating from High School on Friday, June 2. Unfortunately, I will not be in the building but will return the following week. As a parent, please cherish these elementary/middle school moments, the time sure does fly by! They just grow up way to fast!!!
A special thank you to all of our amazing volunteers and RPSA throughout the year. There are too many individuals to list! Everyone plays a vital role and their amazing service has been appreciated. If you are interested in joining the RPSA and/or just volunteering, reach out to me anytime. I will get you connected. Keep this in mind as an opportunity for you to serve God as you serve HIS children and staff.
As we turn the corner into the month of June, the Church turns her gaze upon the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This is one of my favorite devotional months. It is a beautiful devotion of our Faith which emerged when our Lord visited St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in 1674 and requested that she spread the message of His burning love for all. Upon revealing His enflamed and pierced Heart to her, Jesus spoke these words: "Behold the heart that has so love me...Instead of gratitude I receive from the greater part (of humankind) only ingratitude." Even today, Jesus' heart is so pure of love for each of us. It is truly hard to fathom. He exposes himself to us during Holy Communion. The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is June 24. Take a moment all this month and Google The Divine Mercy Prayer! It is beautiful in song.
Wishing everyone a safe and healthy summer. Until next time...keep Living, Loving and Learning Our Faith through JESUS. HE is the way, the truth and the light.
St. Rita watch over us and keep us safe until we meet again. St. Rita pray for us!
Blessings,Blessings,
Dr. Sue

Dear St. Rita Families,
As many of us are excited to have a three day weekend, we must remember why we have Memorial. Day. Once called Remembrance Day, it. started around the Civil War. Commander Breckenridge came to explain that it is a time to remember all the Veterans who sacrificed their lives so we may live to enjoy the freedom we have today. Our first graders were so excited to learn from Commander Breckenridge, they missed recess! Please take time out to thank a Veteran for their service. When he visited our room this morning, he explained that we do not use the words Happy Memorial Day since some Veterans are still very sad about their time and loss of their friends. A huge thank you to Commander Breckenridge for joining us today. He is from our local VFW here in Racine. First graders presented him with cards to give to Veterans at a local Assisted Living Center.
It's hard to believe this year is almost finished. Since our last newsletter, we have learned so much. Our students have grown so much physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually.
In math, we are working on place values. We are becoming much better readers and have all made huge gains. We are working on long vowels, writing letters, notes and thank you cards.
In science, we recently finished the life cycle of the butterfly by watching them develop from caterpillars to butterflies. We released them last week. We also built dragon gliders and will have a contest to see whose will go the farthest.
We want to thank all of our parent volunteers who joined us on the zoo field trip. We want to thank Miss Becca for coloring Easter Eggs with us. We want to thank Mr. Brown for coming to read to our class. We want to thank Miss Kally for being our room mother. Thank you again to all parents who helped out with everything. I want to thank you all again for your support. I will deeply miss this class next year. Luckily, most of them will be right next door.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Bach

12-14 adults are grouped together and dine out at various medium priced restaurants. There are group leaders who will coordinate and communicate the dates of the gatherings once a month. Perfect for Date Night! Our first dinner gathering will be in February.
This is a very flexible club…just come when you can!

General Football information
The Football Program operates under the overall RYS philosophy of “Giving Kids a Sporting Chance”. The objectives of this program are to develop the physical and mental well being of the individual, to increase self-confidence and self-respect, and to encourage leadership development. We wish to develop better citizens through team play and sportsmanship-like competition. Provide a quality physical education program, allow every youth player to participate, and develop their skills to the extent they desire. We teach a positive attitude toward competition and discourage the “win at all costs” attitude. The goal is to teach each player that they are a winner if they give their best effort-regardless of the score.
