Dear St. Rita Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying a restful summer. It is my pleasure to welcome both our returning families and those who are joining us for the first time. We are thrilled about the new school year and all the wonderful experiences and opportunities it will bring.
We are excited to welcome our new families to the St. Rita community! To help you feel at home, we invite you to join us for the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, August 11th. Following Mass, we will have a Kringle Mingle in the church narthex. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet other families and enjoy some delicious treats.
Our Back to School Night is August 19th from 3:30-5:30 p.m. This evening will be dedicated to meeting teachers, getting pictures taken, visiting classrooms, and learning more about the upcoming school year. It’s also an opportunity to drop off supplies so that the students can walk in more easily on the first day of school.
We are looking forward to seeing all our students on Wednesday, August 21st, for the first day of school. Our teachers and staff are preparing diligently to ensure a smooth and exciting start to the year. We have a number of new staff - Marissa Zierl in 5th grade, Kearsten Miller in music, Sarah Prusha as the guidance counselor, and Jaeylnne Venegas as the K4 aide.
To assist our new families, we have attached a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sheet to this newsletter. This document covers essential information about our school, including policies, procedures, and important contacts. Please take some time to review it, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions.
We are eagerly anticipating the return of our students and the beginning of a wonderful school year. Thank you for your continued support and for entrusting us with the education and spiritual growth of your children.
Warm regards,
Beth Woodward
Principal
St. Rita Catholic School
