Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year, St. Rita’s Royals!
I am elated to have each and every student and family back in our building. We welcomed 35 or so new families and believe your transition will be fabulous. A special Thank You to all students, staff and families for helping make St. Rita’s an incredible school. I am honored to serve all as the Principal of St. Rita’s.
As we embark on this new year, we will continue to lead with our St. Rita’s Code of Conduct: Respecting Others, Initiating Jesus Christ, Try our Best and Be Accountable. Please ask your child to recite this daily at home. It is a good reminder of how we all are to live. As a staff we will embrace this and incorporate it into our teaching and everyday life. In addition, we will conscientiously bring forth the academic and moral standards that make this school unique.
Last Monday, as our teaching staff returned from their summer break, we spent time learning about our new curriculum resources, working in collaborative grade level teams, heard from Mr. Myron Deuck regarding standards based learning, focused on Literacy/guided reading and dived into our Catholic Social Responsibilities. We also attended Mass as one Siena team and Father Juan shared an inspiring message!
I am thankful to the staff, our Royal Parent School Association (RPSA), Father Michael and many others who are praying for us and assisting us as we begin this new year of learning.
Next Thursday, we start our weekly Mass schedule. Students and staff are looking forward to celebrating the Eucharist as one community in bringing Christ into our daily lives.
We want to see our students grow intellectually and spiritually, to develop excellent moral character and to deepen their individual relationships with God.
I am very proud of St. Rita’s staff. They are dedicated to providing our students a safe, memorable, interactive and engaging learning experience each day. As we head together into this new school year, I am reminded of a quote by Mother Teresa, “The greatest good we do is what we do for one another.” As a community, let’s step forward, as stewards of Christ, marching stronger into the future, together.
I am grateful for your commitment to St. Rita’s school.
God Bless,
Dr. Sue

It is with great joy that I am able to share that we hired a grade 5 teacher. Mr. Peter Endemann will be with us on Monday. We are looking forward to Peter joining our dynamic team.
Here is a little about Peter!
Mr. Endemann comes to us from the virtual classroom world where he taught Middle School Math and Science at Wisconsin Virtual Academy, and worked as an Instructional Coach for K12 Incorporated which was to prepare and support teachers in the online classroom.
Mr. Endemann is very excited to share his love of learning (especially Math) with students and be part of an active and thriving learning community. He has been in a classroom working as a substitute teacher as well in various school districts, K-12th grade. He brings a wealth of knowledge and his expertise and experiences will benefit students and staff.
On a personal note, Mr. Endemann resides in Burlington, Wisconsin with his wife Ronni and their two daughters Annabelle and Zoe, and a family dog Enzo. Peter enjoys spending time
with his family, hiking, and playing music with friends.
Please join me in welcoming Mr. Endemann on Monday!

For the 22-23 school year, the FDA will not be covering the cost of breakfast and lunch for school children. It is very important that you take a moment to complete the National School Lunch Program application to secure benefits for the upcoming school year. Once the application is processed, you will receive a letter in the mail stating the benefit received or if the application was denied, the reason for the denial.
For questions regarding the Free and Reduced Lunch Application, please contact Cintia Sanchez at (262) 753-1471 or csanchez@sienacatholicschools.org. Para preguntas o ayuda traduciendo a español, por favor contacte a Cintia Sanchez al 262-753-1471.
