Dear St. Rita Families,
As we wrap up another wonderful Catholic Schools Week, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible memories we built together. This week has been a true celebration of our community, faith, and the spirit of St. Rita Catholic School.
Our Faith Fair was a beautiful showcase of the students' hard work and creativity. The projects on display were not only impressive but also a testament to the deep faith and understanding our students have. It was heartwarming to see so many families come together during our Open House, where we welcomed new faces and shared the joy of being part of this special community.
The week was filled with fun and meaningful activities that brought us all closer. The all-school trivia was a hit, challenging our minds and fostering a sense of camaraderie. Our service projects allowed us to give back to the community, embodying the values we hold dear. And who could forget the glow stick dance parties? The laughter and joy were infectious, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Looking ahead, I want to remind you that parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for February 13th. Parents of students in K3-5 can sign up for a specific time slot, while parents of students in grades 6-8 can meet with teachers and specialists on a first-come, first-served basis in the gym.
I extend my thanks to all the parents for your support of our many service projects and activities throughout the week. Your involvement and dedication are what make St. Rita's such a special place. We are truly blessed to be part of this wonderful community.
Thank you for being a part of the St. Rita family.
Warm regards,
Beth Woodward
Principal, St. Rita Catholic School

Tablesetters - Community Service Group
Children in kindergarten through 8th grade are welcome to participate in the community service group at St. Rita called Tablesetters. We meet once a month to learn about Catholic social teaching and participate in service opportunities which reflect those teachings. Some examples of projects from the past are: making dog toys for the Humane Society, collecting winter clothes for a local school, making "blessing bags" for the patrons of the St. Patrick's meal program, planting bulbs on the St. Rita grounds, making scarves and hats for the Hospitality Center, and making cards for our homebound parishioners. Participation in Tablesetters gives students the opportunity to play a real part in the local and global work of serving our community. It's fun to work together in helping others! Please fill out the form that was sent home with your child and return it to school before our first meeting.
