Dear St. Rita School Families,
I hope this message finds you well. We had an incredibly fun and festive week at St. Rita School, filled with Halloween excitement and meaningful reflections.
Our Halloween parties and parade were a huge success! The students’ costumes were creative and delightful, and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces. A special thank you to our room parents for their hard work and dedication in organizing these events. Your efforts made the day truly memorable for everyone.
Today we came together as a school community to celebrate All Saints Day. This holy day of obligation was a beautiful opportunity for us to reflect on the lives of the saints and their examples of faith and virtue. We were blessed to celebrate Mass with our parish, strengthening our bonds as a faith community. The students remarked on the extra musicians and were excited to see the different instruments playing along with the choir!
We have a couple of upcoming events next week. Parent-teacher conferences will be held next Thursday, November 7th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There are sign-up geniuses for grades 3K-5 and the other teachers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the gym. This is a valuable time for parents and teachers to discuss student progress and set goals for the remainder of the school year. Please note that there will be no school on Friday, November 8th, following the conferences.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the parents for your continued support of our teachers and school. Your involvement and encouragement are the reason for the success of our students and the vibrant community we cherish at St. Rita School.
Thank you for being such an integral part of our school family. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Warm regards,
Beth Woodward
Principal, St. Rita School

This is Liam’s review of last week’s games:
This week in St.Rita Girls VolleyBall all the teams played there last regular season game before the playoffs next week. Starting off Strong with the 5th Grade Girls. They won against ASCS playing at St.Lucy Gym. Next we have the 6th Grade Girls. They won vs SJCA-Blue playing at St.Lucy. Then we have the 7th Grade Girls Blue and White but team white had a double header and team blue didn’t. They played against each other at St.Rita Gym and St.Rita-White won. After that St.Rita-White played St.Lucy-Green at St.Rita Gym and they lost against them. Last but not least we have the 8th grade girls. They played ASCS at All Saints Gym and lost.

Tablesetters - Community Service Group
Children in kindergarten through 8th grade are welcome to participate in the community service group at St. Rita called Tablesetters. We meet once a month to learn about Catholic social teaching and participate in service opportunities which reflect those teachings. Some examples of projects from the past are: making dog toys for the Humane Society, collecting winter clothes for a local school, making "blessing bags" for the patrons of the St. Patrick's meal program, planting bulbs on the St. Rita grounds, making scarves and hats for the Hospitality Center, and making cards for our homebound parishioners. Participation in Tablesetters gives students the opportunity to play a real part in the local and global work of serving our community. It's fun to work together in helping others! Please fill out the form that was sent home with your child and return it to school before our first meeting.
