Wicked fleeing

Wicked fleeing

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1).

A wicked person flees the scene of the wickedness after committing it when no man could find any evidence of his wickedness. His guilty conscience drives him to despair. He has no rest in his soul. But a righteous man becomes bold as a lion when he is falsely accused of a crime which he has not committed because he has the favour and protection of God.
