Fearing God and king

My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: (Proverbs 24:21)For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? (Proverbs 24:22)

As a child of God, you should fear the Lord first and then the king who rules your nation. There are authorities who are in position of authority are given to change. They are changeable during their reigns. No ruler is permanent for ever. Such rulers will be judged by God suddenly. You need not do anything to meddle with their wicked functions. You have to simply fear God under these circumstances. God will ruin both the wicked ruler and those changeable authorities who harm you by their authority or power over you.
