Walking uprightly and winking with eye

He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known (Pro.10:9).

Do we walk uprightly in life without crookedness in heart? If so, we walk surely. In the sight of God, if we do not walk uprightly, we do not walk but crawl or limp. One who walks uprightly is strictly honest with God and man and does not cheat others. He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall. (Pro.10:10)According to Wikipedia, a wink is a facial expression made by briefly closing one eye. A wink is an informal mode of non-verbal communication usually signaling shared hidden knowledge or intent. As children of God, we have to communicate our thoughts in a straightforward manner to others. We would cause sorrow to those who we do not want to share our thoughts. There should not be any secret to be hidden in the body of Christ as we are all members of one and the same body of Christ.

Here again, there is a reference to a prating fool who falls. Those who wink with the eye will cause sorrow. But a prating fool is worse than a winking person in the body of Christ. Words of the mouth are more important than facial expressions.
