Envying sinners

Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long (Proverbs 23:17).For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18).

When sinners rule or flourish, do not envy them. Let them continue in their sin. But you should fear God all the days of your life. There will be surely an end to their acts. Your expectation of divine judgment on them shall not be cut off. God will surely punish them before your eyes.
