Ungoldy witness

An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity (Proverbs 19:28).

A witness who does not speak the truth but the falsehood perverts justice and thus scorns judgment. The person who gives false testimony devours iniquity.

Judgments for scorners

Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools (Proverbs 19:29).

Scorners are punished by law givers or judges. Fools are punished by way of stripes following judgments.
