Wisdom versus perverse heart

Wisdom versus perverse heart

A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised (Pro.12:8).

It is the wisdom and not the knowledge possessed by a person that evaluates his or her worth. We hold aptitude tests not to measure the wisdom of a person but his or her knowledge. Wisdom is not mere mental ability or the level of IQ. Wisdom revolves on love, humility and righteousness. If we select people of wisdom, then we can have able administrators in companies, government offices and institutions and they can excel in rectitude and morality leading to greater productivity. If we have someone of a perverse heart at the helm of affairs, he or will be despised ultimately though he or she may be intelligent and cunning. We experience lethargic and unproductive administration because of the people of a perverse heart.
