自分が聞き取れない部分を発見し、正しく発音できるようになることを目指してトレーニングをしていきます。
以下の音声を聞いて、聞こえてきた英語をノートに書き取りましょう。
・英文はきりのいいところで止めながら書き取りを行っていきます。
・あくまでも聞き取れない部分や読めない部分を知るために行うので、最大３回行ったら次に進みましょう。
・スペルが正確に書けない場合は、カタカナで書きましょう。
・追加でできる方：以下の音声もディクテーションしていきましょう。
・ディクテーションをする時間がない方：音声を聞いて理解できるか確認してみましょう。
以下の英文を１度読んで、意味が理解できるかを確認しましょう。
分からない部分は、和訳を確認しましょう（必要があれば辞書などで調べる）。
Flight Attendant: Would you like something to drink?
Matt: Yes, I’d like to have an orange juice.
Flight Attendant: Sure. Here it is.

Matt: What happens if I don't get on a connecting flight because of the delay?
Airport clerk: We can check online if there is another available flight with the same airline. If there is none, we can also look for an alternative flight with another carrier.
Matt: And what happens if you can't find a flight?
Airport clerk: The airport shuttle bus will take you to a local hotel.
Matt: Who will cover the cost of that?
Airport clerk: We would cover the cost of your hotel room.
Matt: That’s a relief. Thanks for the information.

のように肯定文の語尾を疑問形のようなものをつけることがあります。（文法としては付加疑問文と言います）これを付けることによって
I won’t be able to get to the airport on time. 時間通りに空港に到着できない。
→I won’t be able to get to the airport on time, will I? 時間通りに空港に到着できないですよね？
と相手に確認を取ったり同意を求める文章になります。
付加疑問文の作り方は以下のようになります。
肯定文, 否定疑問形?（前文が肯定文であれば語尾は否定形）
It is a beautiful day, isn’t it?
She likes chocolate, doesn’t she?
否定文, 肯定疑問形?（前文が否定文であれば語尾は肯定形）
You are not happy with that, are you?

上記の英文を見ながら、音源を聞いて３回音読をしましょう。この時、音源は１文ずつピリオドで止めて、音声を真似して発音しましょう。

ディクテーションで使ったノートの写真を取り、アドバイザーに提出しましょう。
正しく発音できること、または瞬時に意味を理解できることを目指して、トレーニングをしていきます。

演技の稽古をしているイメージで、感情を込めて音読することで英語を日本語を介さずにイメージで理解することができるようになります。
