自分が聞き取れない部分を発見し、正しく発音できるようになることを目指してトレーニングをしていきます。
以下の音声を聞いて、聞こえてきた英語をノートに書き取りましょう。
・英文はきりのいいところで止めながら書き取りを行っていきます。
・あくまでも聞き取れない部分や読めない部分を知るために行うので、最大３回行ったら次に進みましょう。
・スペルが正確に書けない場合は、カタカナで書きましょう。
・追加でできる方：以下の音声もディクテーションしていきましょう。
・ディクテーションをする時間がない方：音声を聞いて理解できるか確認してみましょう。
以下の英文を１度読んで、意味が理解できるかを確認しましょう。
分からない部分は、和訳を確認しましょう（必要があれば辞書などで調べる）。
A:What do you think about this one, Tom?
B:Hmm… It might be too big for you. I think you need a smaller one.
A:Oh, okay. Let me try on another one. Hold on a second. … Well, what do you think?
B:That definitely looks good on you! The color is perfect. Oh, it’s 100% silk. It’s probably not cheap. Are you sure you want to buy this one?

Amil: I wanted to see your reaction. (laughs) So, what do you think of Tara Vel’s acting?
Lisa: She’s an amazing actress! I’m impressed that she can sing so well, too. People seem to love her. I was so amused that people clapped every time she appeared on the screen. We don’t really do that in Japan.
Amil: Yeah, that’s pretty common here. I’m glad that you didn’t think it was annoying.

*anthem の th は them のように濁る音（voiced TH）ではなく、think / thank の th (unvoiced TH) と同じです！
Jake:Are you sure that was a three-star restaurant? The food wasn’t even that good.
Ai:Oh, really? Well, I enjoyed it.
Jake:You enjoyed it? It was horrible! The salad was too dry, the soup wasn’t spicy enough, and the stir-fried noodles were way too salty! And, honestly, I think the lobster rolls were overcooked too.
Ai:Are you serious? I agree that the stir-fried noodles were a bit too salty, but I thought the lobster rolls were cooked just right. They were tender enough for me. I enjoyed the tom yum soup and salad too. Also, the dessert was amazing. It was just sweet enough. I think the problem is you, not the restaurant!
Jake:Maybe your standards are too low.

*horrible は ホrible のように発音します。
*salad は sa を強く読み、最後は d の音のみで終わり”ダ”と発音しないことがポイントです。
*stir はスターのように発音します。（starとは違うことにも注意）
*honestly の h は発音されず、オネストリーのように発音します。
上記の英文を見ながら、音源を聞いて３回音読をしましょう。この時、音源は１文ずつピリオドで止めて、音声を真似して発音しましょう。

ディクテーションで使ったノートの写真を取り、アドバイザーに提出しましょう。
正しく発音できること、または瞬時に意味を理解できることを目指して、トレーニングをしていきます。

演技の稽古をしているイメージで、感情を込めて音読することで英語を日本語を介さずにイメージで理解することができるようになります。
