On May 3rd, the York School community, along with 17 schools across Toronto and many other schools across Canada, is encouraged to wear black and/or yellow in support of Anti-Vaping Awareness Day.
We know it’s already difficult to reach out for support, and the pandemic has made it so much harder. It’s contributed to the development of addictions for many teens and COVID-19 has made it difficult to make real supportive connections.
This initiative was started in order to fight teen vaping addiction, share useful resources, and help those addicted take steps to go vape-free!
We are also lighting up the CN tower, which most people will be able to see from somewhere around their neighbourhood. Along with that, Niagara Falls will be lit up and you can watch it live streamed here!
