¡Hola York!
As October comes to an end, very special celebrations are on their way. Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is this Monday, November 2!
Watch out around reception for our school ofrenda brought to you by the Spanish Club!
Fact: An ofrenda is an altar used during this celebration full of pictures and offerings for family members who have departed this world and who are returning for just a few days each year.
Did you know that on Friday, November 6th the Spanish Club will be celebrating Día de los Muertos? That’s right! Join us on google meets at lunch starting at 11:45 for a themed club meeting! Play games, learn culture, history and language, gain points and if you stay long enough you can even win prizes!
If you have any questions feel free to email us. We can’t wait to see you there!
¡Hasta luego!
