Necklace of Adaptation

This is a necklace incorporating precious metals and at least one large natural stone (ex. turquoise).

• This necklace allows the wearer to operate normally without breathing for up to 7 days. After this time, the wearer must breathe air (or the wearer's native element required for normal respiration) for 10 rounds before another 7 days of not breathing is possible.

• If breathing normally, the wearer can stop breathing as an immediate action.

Limitations

• In order for the wearer to speak, they must drawn in air to their lungs (breathe). One breath lasts for 10 rounds and allows speech for 1 round.

Attunement. The necklace must be worn continuously for 24 hours before it will attune to the possessor. If the necklace is taken off, even briefly, it must re-attune.
