This very fine metallic powder will negate most forms of magical concealment.
Throw Powder. [other] (major) The possessor of a packet of this powder can disperse it in a cloud covering the possessor and all within a 10-ft. radius. If not in hand, the activity will consume 3 segments. Everything in the area of effect is covered in the dust:
Everything covered in the dust gains a sparkly halo (including the possessor) for the listed duration. After the dust coats an area, anything entering the area is unaffected by the dust.
Anything invisible is rendered fully visible.
Illusions (including a project image spell) cannot be covered in dust or replicate the nature of the halo. If the caster of a mirror image spell is in the area, their mirror images are rendered useless allowing the halo-covered caster to be targeted.
Displacement or camouflage effects are likewise rendered ineffective.
Attempts to hide without total cover automatically fail.
If a creature is covered in the dust and subsequently shifts to the Ethereal plane, the halo effect continues to be visible to those on the Prime plane.
If a creature is covered in the dust is an Astral Clone, their silver cord will be revealed (although even revealed, the cord is immune to most effects).
Creatures that exist only partially on the Prime plane can be covered in the dust, making their location plain (e.g. shadows, incorporeal creatures able to touch those on the Prime).
Illusions (including a project image spell) cannot be covered in dust or replicate the nature of the halo.
The halo cannot be removed unless by a dispel magic effect.
While it is possible to carefully cover an immobile creature or object with the powder (per the GM; without affecting the possessor), attempts to store it in in a container other than the packet render the dust mundane.
Rarely, the powder will be found in specialized blowgun type apparatus. In this case, the area of effect is a 20-ft. long cone with a terminus of 15-ft. The possessor can blow the powder from the tube and will not be in the area of effect.
