Creatures with treasure will often have a listing by "type" (alphabetical). If the GM desires to determine the treasure randomly, the following table can be used. In terms of coins, the GM should treat the treasure as an "over-all value" figure—not mounds of coins found in a single treasure room. Thus, humanoids will each carry coins and other treasure. Valuable objects, clothing, furniture, art, and the like will consume much of it. Leaders will use magic items if they are usable. When determining treasure randomly, use the MAXIMUM number of creatures in the "NO. APPEARING" in the creature's description. This sets the treasure rolled at 100% for fewer creatures encountered, adjust downward accordingly. The GM will make a judgement call with regard to any magic items indicated (or create some ratio based on overall value indicated). The GM may also switch items or re-roll if items indicated could cause harm to the campaign or are unrealistic to be found with the creatures.
