This is a small roundish stone that, when thrown, always strikes true.
Stone. [missile] (major) When thrown by hand at a creature, this stone never misses. The stone is otherwise treated as a mundane missile weapon with a maximum range of 30-ft. that does 1d4 points of blunt damage when it hits (regardless of creature size).
The stone's ability to strike a targeted creature is otherwise similar to how the spell magic missile works (i.e. no random targeting due to melee, ignores mirror images, unaffected by displacement, ignores cover/concealment under 100%, etc.).
The wielder must be able to pinpoint a creature to hit it.
If thrown at an object, the stone behaves as would a mundane stone (normal chances to hit, etc.)
If thrown using a sling, the stone loses it's automatic striking ability, but gains a +4 bonus on the attack roll (with all the normal attributes of a sling stone, e.g. range categories, armor defense adjustments, etc.) and strikes as a mundane weapon (does no damage against a creature with DR/+1 or higher).
If the wielder is attempting to make a called shot, a normal attack roll should be made, on a natural 20, the called shot is successful, if any other result is rolled, the targeted creature is hit by the stone normally.
Once used, the stone may be retrieved and used again.
The stone gains the standard items saves for a magical item ("stone, small").
