Insanity, madness, and craziness are terms that describe a spectrum of individual and group behaviors that are characterized by certain abnormal mental or behavioral patterns. Insanity can be manifest as violations of societal norms, including a person or persons becoming a danger to themselves or to other people.

Effects. In general, if the afflicted is forced to do something against their particular insanity, they must make a Wisdom save vs. Spell or become violent. Otherwise, the character must act in accordance with their particular insanity (working with the GM) or face performance rating penalties. Some insanities could cause alignment problems.
