Under methods of testing, the amulet appears to be an amulet of proof against detection and location.

However, the amulet is cursed:

• If a force hostile to the wearer attempts a magical scrying, divination, detection, or location effect (pointed toward or) that would affect the wearer, the effect will operate at double the range and likelihood of success.
