Ring of Petrification

This ring causes the wearer to become petrified.

• Once donned, the wearer and all of their gear immediately turns to stone (granite).

• The ring is immune to this effect and can be slipped off the wearer's finger (it magically allows itself to be easily removed).

• Removing the ring from a petrified creature is a major action [other].

• When the ring is removed, the former wearer becomes flesh again.

• For physical effects of being stone, see the statue spell. Unlike the statue spell, the wearer is mentally in stasis (treat as unconscious).
