Charisma is the ability to attract, charm, and influence others. Charisma is not necessarily tied to physical attractiveness, but other factors, such as: confidence, exuberance, optimism, a ready smile, expressive body language, and a friendly, passionate voice.
This is the maximum number of henchmen an individual may have at any one time. A henchman is a special non-player character that is more powerful than a typical hireling. For more information on henchmen, reference your campaign website.
An NPC’s faithfulness is typically 50% adjusted by Charisma and then other factors. Morale is similarly affected.
NPCs encountered can be parleyed with, and a high Charisma will help in these interactions. See Encounter Reaction.
Comeliness reflects physical attractiveness and social grace of the character. This ability score is rolled similar to others (the dice dependant on campaign rules and adjusted by Charisma). Race may play a factor depending on the viewer’s perspective.
For example, humans will look upon half-orcs (-3), dwarves/gnomes (-1), and elves (+2) differently.
Actual game effects of Comeliness are up to the GM with negative numbers eliciting horror or revulsion and higher numbers garnering attention and interest (albeit temporary; as beauty is only skin deep).
