These boots allow the wearer to levitate on command.
Levitate. [other] (major) The wearer, as part of normal movement, can instead levitate (up or down) at a rate of 20-ft. per round (2-ft. per segment). The wearer cannot move via levitation if they have taken a major action. Levitation does not require concentration but is a purely mental activity. The levitation effect is otherwise the same as the spell, levitate (although see also the limitations regarding weight).
These boots will resize to fit humanoids up to Large size (1-ft. to 10-ft. tall).
When the boots are found, the weight limit for the levitation effect must be determined. Roll (1d20 x 14) + 280 = The maximum weight supported by the levitation effect by that individual set of boots (this includes the wearer and anything carried).
One Boot. If only a single boot is worn, any movement is considered a complex activity and the weight limit and movement rate is halved. The wearer must make a Dexterity save vs. Petrify each round or they will flip over and the magic will fail for 1 round (the wearer will fall).
