This metal horn can be used to summon berserk warriors from Valinar.
There are at least 4 types of these horns, each primarily composed of a different metal. When discovered, the GM should check to see if the horn is aligned (see below). If the possessor uses the appropriate command word, the horn can be sounded to summon the following band of warriors based on the type of horn.
Summon Berserkers. [innate] (major) When sounded, a rainbow colored portal appears next to the possessor and a group of berserk fighters from Valinar exit. The fighters appear eager to fight and can act on the possessor's verbal orders in the following round. They understand Common. If killed, the fighter and all their gear disappears (they are spirits from Valinar). The fighters will obey the one that sounded the horn for up to 1 hour or until they are killed. The horn will only summon fighters once every 7 days.
Saving throws are as a fighter whose level is equal to their hit dice and gain a +1 to Dexterity saves.
Berserking. [innate] (minor) When a berserker begins combat, they fly into a rage, gaining multi-attack (+1/2) and, on any round they don't have an iterative attack, they gain a +2 bonus to their attack roll. While in a rage, these fighters never check for morale and are immune to fear effects.
Many (d%; 01-50) of the various horns of Valhalla summon only fighters from Valinar of a particular alignment. If this is the case, and the one that sounded the horn is of an opposite alignment as the fighters, they will sense this immediately when summoned. Instead of following the possessor's commands, they attack the possessor and their allies. There is no way outside of wish-level magic or a successful contact other plane spell (contacting a being on Valinar) to detect the alignment of fighters the horn will summon.
