To access the WORK ORDERS screen: Go to the PRODUCTION menu → WORK ORDERS screen
On the WORK ORDERS page, click the Add button.
A dialog will appear for you to enter the details about the work order:
Fields appearing in pink are mandatory, and must be entered.
Work Order ID: Leave this field blank for the work order to automatically be assigned an ID. If you wish to assign your own ID, enter it here.
Assignee: Select who the work order is assigned to from the list.
Created On: Select the date the work order was created on. By default this will be set to the current day.
Status: Choose the status of the work order from the status list. By default this will be set to Draft.
Type: Select the type of work order from the drop down list. By default this will be set to General.
Priority: Select the priority of the work order from the drop down list.
Due Date: Select the date the work order needs to be completed by.
Special Instructions: Enter instructions for the work order.
To save the work order, click Save.
If the type of work order select is type packaging, an additional tab will show. Here, enter the details about the packaging:

Source Inventory Lot: Select the inventory lot from which iventory will be packaged.
Add New Lot After Packaging: Check this box if a new lot should be created after packaging.
Packaging Type: Select whether the packaging will be done into bags and pallets or totes.
Unit of Measure: Select the unit of measure for the packaging details.
Tote Type: Select either Totes or QBits.
Treatment Service: Select a treatment service to treat the inventory with.
Standard Application Rate: The standard application rate from the service will be displayed.
Application Multiplier: Input the multipler for the application rate.
Source Location: Select the date the work order needs to be completed by.
Target Location: The location where the totes/bag pallets will go.
Tote/Bag Size(per): Size of the tote/bag per unit of measure.
Tote/Bag per Pallet Count: How many totes do you want to be created/How many bags do you want to be created in the bag pallet.
Bag Pallet Count: How many bag pallets do you want to be created.
Tote/Bag Total Amount(UoM): The total amount will be calculated based on the size and count fields.
Comments: Enter comments for the work order.
To save the work order, click Save.
If the type of work order selected is type packaging, an optional treatments tab will also show. Here, enter the details about the packaging:
Treatment Service: Select a treatment service to treat the inventory with.
Note: Only services with the type Custom Treating and matching the crop type of the product on the selected inventory lot.
Standard Application Rate: The standard application rate from the service will be displayed.
Application Multiplier: Input the multipler for the application rate. i
Add to Treatment List: Click the button to add to the treatment list/table.
To delete a Treatment Service from the list, click the "X" in the actions column.
To enter treatments for the packaging work order, navigate to the packaging materials tab.
Here you can enter the details about the packaging materials for the packaging work order:
Select a Packaging material to add: Select a packaging material to add to the work order
Quantity: Input the amount of packaging material to be used on the work order.
To add treatment to the work order, click "+ Add to Packaging Material List". Once all the packaging materials have been added, click save.
To enter treatments for the packaging work order, navigate to the treatment tab.
Here you can enter the details about the treatment for the packaging work order:
Select a Treatment to Add: Select a treatment service to add to the work order
Standard Application Rate: The standard application rate is copied from the treatment service.
Application Multiplier: Enter the application multiplier.
To add treatment to the work order, click "+ Add to Treatment List". Once all the treatments have been added, click save.
To complete the work order, change the status to Completed or Completed - Need Admin Review.
Note: "Completed - Need Admin Review" status is only available if the company setting "Work orders require admin review upon completion?" is enabled. Updated Work Order Comment: Add any work order comments.
Completed By: Select who completed the work order.
Completed Date: Select the completed date for the work order.
Before saving, make sure all required data is entered across every tab.
On the Packaging Material tab, add any materials used for the work order. Materials added during work order creation will already appear in the list.
To add a packaging material, select it from the dropdown, enter the quantity used, and click Add to include it in the packaging material list.
On the Wasted Packaging and Product tab, enter the quantity of any wasted packaging materials, as well as the wasted product quantity and its unit of measure (UOM).
On the Completed Items tab, enter the amount of product that was actually packed. The fields will be pre-filled with the requested packaging quantities.
To report the packaged inventory, review or update the quantity, tote/bag/bag pallet amounts, and the reference numbers for each packaging material used. Then click the Add to Table button.
Once all data has been entered, click Save to update the work order status.
