Add a Storage Location
To access the STORAGE LOCATIONS screen: Go to the INVENTORY menu → STORAGE LOCATIONS screen

Click Add Storage Location.
The Storage Location screen will appear where you can enter the details about the new storage location.
Fields appearing in Pink are Mandatory, and must be entered.
Name/Bin: Enter the name of the storage location.
Description: Enter a description of the storage location.
Capacity: Enter the inventory capacity for the storage location.
Site: Select a site from the list (these come from your inventory sites list). The site is where the storage location is physically located.
Active: This checkbox specifies if the storage location is active or not. By default it will be set to active.
Type: Select type from the list. (Bin, ExternalBin or Warehouse).
Usage: Select the storage location's usage from the list.
Note - The options in the usage list depend on the location type selected above (Ex. A warehouse location cannot be used for bulkseed).
Has Fan: Check this box if this storage location has a fan, if selected an icon will appear on this location in the VBI to indicate there is a fan.
To complete the storage location creation, click Save.
This storage location will now be available for selection to receive and transfer inventory into.
