Adjust Inventory for a Storage Location

To access the STORAGE LOCATIONS screen: Go to the INVENTORY menu → STORAGE LOCATIONS screen

PRE-REQUISITE: You must have your inventory lots set up and inventory received into a storage location before you can adjust its inventory.

Click Adjust Inventory.

The Inventory Adjustment screen will appear where you can enter the details about the adjustment.

Fields appearing in Pink are Mandatory, and must be entered.

Storage Amount: The inventory amount within the storage location is displayed here. This cannot be edited.
Quantity: You can adjust your inventory by reducing or adding to the quantity. Simply enter the quantity for the adjustment.

Example: If you wanted to subtract 10 from the storage amount you would enter -10 in the quantity field. If you wanted to add 10 to the amount you would enter 10.
Note: By selecting the X button, this will automatically enter a negative quantity for all of your current inventory within the storage location to empty it.

Comments: Enter a comment explaining the reason for the adjustment. This is required for inventory traceability/history purposes.
Override Date: If you adjusted the inventory on a day other than today, you can edit your adjustment date by clicking the checkbox and using the date picker to choose an alternate date.
Unclean: If your inventory is unclean, selecting this action will set the inventory in the storage location to unclean.

Note: If you just want to adjust a storage location to be unclean (without changing the quantity in it), enter 0 in the quantity field and check off this checkbox. Enter a comment, then click Save and the inventory quantity will remain unchanged but it will now be unclean.

To complete the inventory adjustment, click Save.

The adjustment will be applied to your inventory and your storage location, lot & product quantities will be updated accordingly.
