Blending Inventory Lots (Stacking)
PRE-REQUISITE: You must have the inventory to be stacked in existing inventory lots.
Lot Blending Summary:
Blending lots in Seedtrakr allows you to choose inventory from multiple inventory lots (of the same variety) and combine them into a new blended lot.
Blending lots with units as the unit of measure (Hybrid Rye or Soybeans) isn't yet supported.
As of V4.5 lot blending records cannot be cancelled. Movements can be removed, cancelling the entire blend record will come at a later date.
When blending lots, the product selected on the blended lot will be the lowest pedigree that will be allowed to be added to the blend. For example: if the blended lot is Registered, only lots that are Registered or higher can be added to the blend.
Commercial inventory lots cannot be blended.
Lots do not need to be in the same unit of measure to be blended, inventory from all lots added to the blended lot will be converted to the blended lot's unit of measure.
Clean and unclean inventory can be mixed during blending, any storage location in the blended lot where this occurs will be marked as unclean.
A blend can be started from the inventory lot details screen of an existing lot or on the Lot Blending page under the Production menu.
To access the LOT BLENDING screen: Go to the PRODUCTION menu → LOT BLENDING screen

Blending movements must be cancelled in the in the reverse order that they were added. (Only the most recently added movement can be cancelled).
If you are canceling an unclean blending movement, you will be asked to specify the clean/unclean status of the bin. This is because transactions outside of the lot blending record (inside the blended lot) may have changed its status.
Click Delete Lot Blending Movement beside the movement you want to cancel.
Note: The most recently added transactions must be cancelled first.
Once cancelled, the inventory will be returned to its source location and the blend quantity will be adjusted accordingly.
