Purchase Inventory
To access the INVENTORY LOTS screen: Go to the INVENTORY menu → INVENTORY LOTS screen
You can track your purchased amounts of seed by adding a purchased amount to an inventory lot. When you add a purchased amount, the amount is automatically calculated into your availability. Further, when you receive the seed, you can receive against the purchased amount. This will reduce the purchased amount and update the received amount.

Enter the Inventory Lot Details screen for the lot you want to purchase inventory for, click View Lot Details.
Click More Action, select Purchase Inventory.
Fields appearing in Pink are Mandatory, and must be entered.
Vendor: Enter the vendor you bought the seed from.
Quantity: Enter the amount you've purchased.
Unit of Measure: Select the unit of measure you purchased the seed in.
Unit Cost: Enter the cost per unit.
Comments: Enter any comments.
When complete, click Save.
