Linking Inventory Lots & Seed Crop Records

INVENTORY LOTS and SEED CROP RECORDS can be linked together from either the inventory lot details screen or the seed crop record screen

Existing inventory lots and seed crop records can be linked together if the lot wasn't first created from the record.

Linking Lots & Seed Crop Records from the Seed Crop Record

Go to the SEED CROP FIELD DETAILS page for the record you want to link to an inventory lot and click the Link seed crop record to inventory lot button.

Note:  If your seed crop record doesn't have a crop certificate & an inspection on it you'll see the following confirmation message: 

If you want to continue linking the lot without the crop certificate & inspection, click yes.

A drop down menu will appear where you can select the inventory lot that you want to link to the record. 

The list consists of lots that match the variety and year on the record.

Select the lot you want to link, click Save.

The inventory lot will then appear below the Seed Crop Record.

Linking Lots & Seed Crop Records from the Inventory lot

On the INVENTORY LOT DETAILS page for the lot you want to link to a seed crop record, click More Actions and select Link Seed Crop.

A list of Seed Crop Records that match the variety and year on the inventory lot will appear.

Select the seed crop record you want to link the lot to, click Save.

Once saved, a Traceability tab will appear where all seed crop records linked to the lot will appear.
