Adding Custom Treating Services
To access the SERVICES screen: Go to the PRODUCT MASTER menu → SERVICES screen
Click Add Service.
The Service screen will appear where you can enter the details about the new custom treating service.
Fields appearing in Pink are Mandatory, and must be entered.
Name: Enter the name of the custom treating service.
Description: Enter a description of the treating service.
Active: This checkbox specifies if the service is active or not. By default it will be set to active.
Service Type: Select CustomTreating from the drop down list.
Crop Type: Select the crop type that the treating service is for from the drop down list.
Seed Treatment: Select the treatment that the service will use.
Standard Application Rate (litres per): Enter the standard application rate in litres per unit of measure.
Note: This must be greater than 0 for the AgCollect export to populate sales correctly if the unit of measure is not set to litres.
Unit of Measure: Select a unit of measure for the service. This is the unit of measure that will be used on your invoices for this service.
Note: The unit of measure set on the service will be used on the booking and any reports it's included on. The AgCollect Export report will convert any sales of the service into Litres for reporting compliance.
Standard Price: Enter the standard retail price for the treatment service (per unit of measure).
GST Eligible: If selected, the service will have GST applied to it when sold.
Sold By: Select which users have access to sell the service.
External Sales Commission ($/): Enter a commission value for external sales users if they sell this service (if applicable).
To complete the service creation, click Save.
The service will now appear on the SERVICES page and is now available to be added to bookings.
When booked, the standard application rate on the service will be used to calculate the quantity of treatment to book. Booked quantities for treatments can be viewed on the SEED TREATMENTS page.
