Splitting an inventory lot
To access the INVENTORY LOTS screen: Go to the INVENTORY menu → INVENTORY LOTS screen
PRE-REQUISITE: You must have inventory in the lot and the lot cannot be a demoted lot.

Enter the Inventory Lot Details screen for the lot you want to split, click View Lot Details.
Click More Actions, select Split Lot.
You will see a warning to let you know that you cannot undo this action once completed.
Only click Yes if you are sure you want to split the inventory lot.
The Split Inventory Lot screen will appear where you can enter the details about the new blended lot.
Fields appearing in Pink are Mandatory, and must be entered.
No Crop Certificate?: Check this box if the new lot doesn't have a crop certificate.
Crop Cert #: Enter the crop certificate # for the new split lot (if applicable).
Lot #: By default this field contains the lot # of the original lot followed by (split) to indicate that it is a split lot. You can modify this field as necessary.
Select Source Locations: Select which storage locations you want to move to the new split lot. You can click & drag with your mouse or hold the ctrl button and click each location to move. You must select at least one location.
Comments: Enter any comments related to the lot split.
Override Date?: If you check this box you can manually enter the date that the lot split occurred.
When complete, click Save.
Lots that have been split are indicated by the split icon to the left of their lot # in the Inventory Lots screen.
In the Inventory Lot Details screen for the split lot, there is a link back to the original lot that it was split from for traceability.
