Adding Contract Production Lots
To access the INVENTORY LOTS screen: Go to the INVENTORY menu → INVENTORY LOTS
On the Inventory Lots Screen, click Add Inventory Lot .
Fields appearing in Pink are Mandatory, and must be entered.
Fill out the necessary details for the inventory lot, as you would with a regular inventory lot (see adding inventory lots for more info).
Under the Contract Customer drop down menu, choose the name of the contract customer (owner of the lot, usually a genetics company).
Now that there is a contract customer set on the lot, it automatically becomes a production contract lot & will appear blue in the inventory lots list.
When complete, click Save. The lot will now appear in the inventory lots list as a contract production inventory lot.
