Adding a Blend Batch

Click Add Blend Spec.

The Blend Batch screen will appear where you can enter the details about the blend batch.

Fields appearing in pink are mandatory, and must be entered:

1. Target Product:  Select the target blend product.

Note:  Only products that have been marked as blends and have a blend spec will appear in the drop-down. 

2. Target Lot: Select the target lot for the blend batch.

3. Create New Lot:  Check this off if, instead of selecting a target lot, a new one should be added.

4. Target Location:  Select a target storage location.

5. Target Blend Quantity: Input the target blend quantity.

6. Blend Date:  Select a date for the blend batch.

7. Unit of Measure:  Select a unit of measure for the target blend quantity.

8. Format: Select between bulk or tote as the format of the blended product.

To save the blend batch creation, click Save.

The blend batch will now appear on the BLEND BATCH page and blend batch quantities can be added. 

Enter the Blend Batch Details screen by clicking the View Blend Batch Details button under the Actions column.

Click the Export Ingredients button to download an Excel document of the blend batch ingredients. 

In the file, input the actual quantity of each ingredient in the blend batch in the last column. 

Next, import the actual quantities into the blend batch record by navigating to the Import Actuals tab.

Next, click Attach and select the exported ingredients document.

Then, click the Import button.

Finally, click the Complete Import button.

To complete a Blended Batch, import the actual quantities, then click the Edit button in the action column for each ingredient to select a source lot and location.

Select a source lot by picking one from the drop-down. 

Then, select a source location from the drop-down.

Next, click Save.

Repeat the above steps for each ingredient. 

Finally, click Complete.

Please note: this action cannot be reversed. Once you click Complete, the new blended product will be created in the existing target lot, or a new target lot will be generated.
