The SocrateMobile application allows you to access the SocrateCloud system through mobile devices. For now the application is only available for Android and provides access to the following SocrateCloud functionalities:
Tasks
Requests
Expenses
Create an account
An account contains information used by SocrateMobile to access SocrateCloud. If no account is available the application will open the account creation page. You may also add additional accounts in the account selection page by pressing the Android Menu button located on the device and then selecting Create Account.
The following data needs to be entered on the account creation page:
Name - a name for the SocrateMobile account. This is used by the application to save the login data;
Url: - the URL you normally enter on your browser to access the SocrateCloud application. The prefix "https:// " will be added automatically;
Email și Password - the email and password you normally use to log in to SocrateCloud;
Press the button located in the upper right corner to save the account.
Select an account
After being saved and account may be used to access SocrateCloud. The account selection page contains a list of accounts previously created using the account creation page:
For every account the corresponding Name and URL are displayed. The following actions are available on the selection page:
press on an account - the application will attempt to connect to SocrateCloud using the account information;
long press on an account - the following options will become available:
Edit - edit the account information: Email, Password, URL and Name;
Delete - delete the SocrateMobile account (the corresponding SocrateCloud user will not be affected)
Connect - the application will attempt to connect to SocrateCloud using the account information;
press the Android Menu button - the following options will become available:
Create Account - will open the account creation page;
Settings - used for log management.
Connect to SocrateCloud
The application will use the account information entered in the account creation page (Email, Password, URL) to access SocrateCloud:
If the information is incorrect or if a connection cannot be made to SocrateCloud, the application will display a corresponding error message.
If the login data is correct, the application will be connected to SocrateCloud. You will then need to select the corresponding role and organization for the user. After completing the authentication process SocrateMobile will display a list of functionalities:
By selecting Tasks, the list of tasks assigned to the user will be displayed.
For every task in the list you can view the following: Subject, Assigned User, No. , Organization and Priority. Press on a task to display detailed information. SocrateCloud tasks are explained in GoogleApps Integration.
To update the list, drag down the list until the "Release to refresh..." message is displayed.
For a task the following actions are available:
view actions;
add action;
add / edit task.
Edit / Add a Task
A new task can be added by pressing the button on the Tasks menu bar. The Add New Task page will be displayed. An existing task can be edited by pressing the button on the Tasks menu bar. The Edit page will be displayed.
The available fields in both pages are the same and they are linked to the fields in the Tasks window from SocrateCLoud. Details in GoogleApps Integration.
To save a task pres on the button on the Tasks menu bar. To cancel press the button or the Android Return button on the device. If any mandatory fields are missing, saving is not allowed and a corresponding error message will be displayed.
View Actions
For every task it's corresponding actions can be viewed by pressing the button located on the Tasks menu bar. The action list will be displayed on the left side of the screen. For every action in the list the following information is displayed: User, Role, Organization and Date (when the action was made).
Press on an action to display detailed information.
Add an Action
To add an action to a task select it from the list and press the button on the Tasks menu bar. The Add Action window be displayed:
To save a new action, after filling in the available fields, press Save.
By selecting Requests, the list of requests assigned to the user will be displayed:
For every request in the list in the list you can view the following: Subject, Business Partner, No. , Type, Category, Group și Priority. Press on a request to display detailed information. SocrateCloud requests are explained in Requests.

Add / Edit a Request

View Actions
For every request it's corresponding actions can be viewed by pressing the button located on the Requests menu bar. The action list will be displayed on the left side of the screen. For every action in the list the following information is displayed: User, Role, Organization and Date (when the action was made). Press on an action to display detailed information.
Add an Action
To add an action to a request, select it from the list and press the button on the Requests menu bar. The Add Action window be displayed:
To save a new action, filling in the available fields, press Save.
By selecting Expense Reports you will open a list of SocrateCloud expense reports. Expense reports are detailed in Time and Expense Report. For every expense report from the list the following information is displayed: Description, Name, Organization, Employee (Business Partner) and Date. On the list the following actions are available:
add / edit expense report
add / edit expense report line
view expense report information
To view all existing expense reports (including completed / closed) press the Android Menu button and select Show All.
To view only "In Progress" or "Drafted" expense reports press the Android Menu button and select Not Processed.
To refresh the list press the Android Menu button and select Refresh Expense Reports.
View a report
Press on an expense report from the list to display detailed information. On an expense report page, the following actions are available:
On the menu bar
Add New Expense Report , Edit Expense Report , Add Expense Report Line - the actions are described in the chapters below;
Refresh - press the button from the menu bar to update refresh the information displayed on the page;
On the Expense report master section:
The Hide / Show buttons- can be used alternatively to hide/show the Expense report master section;
Document Action - displays the document status: Drafted, In Progress , Completed, Closed. Press on the corresponding button to change the expense report status.
On the Report Lines section - the expense report details are displayed. For every line the following information is displayed on the list: Description, Product, Unit of Measure, Price;
View Report Line - press on a line from the list to open the Expense Report Lines window which displays detailed information;
Edit Line - on the Expense Report Lines window, you have the option to edit the line.
Add / Edit a Report
To add a new expense report press the button on the menu bar. The Add expense report page is displayed. To edit an expense report select it from the list and press the button on the menu bar. The Edit page will be displayed.

To save an expense report press on the button on the Requests menu bar. To cancel press the button or the Android Return button on the device. If any mandatory fields are missing, saving is not allowed and a corresponding error message will be displayed.
Add / Edit a Report Line
Select the expense report from the list. You may add / edit lines only for "In Progress" or "Drafted" expense reports. To add a new expense report line, select the expense report from the list and press the button from the menu bar. To edit a line press on it in the Report Lines section for an expense report in the Expense Report Lines window press Edit.
The available fields in both windows are the same and they are linked to the fields in the Report Lines tab, Expense Report window from SocrateCloud. Details in Time and Expense Report.
To save the line / modifications, press Save. If any mandatory fields are missing, saving is not allowed and a corresponding error message will be displayed.
