4. Context

The Context Area window found in the Application Dictionary menu allows you to define alternative labels for the fields in the existing windows. For example, the Business Partner field holds different meanings for the users in different contexts. In a sales order, the Business Partner is the Customer, whereas in a purchase order, the Business Partner is the Vendor. The Context Area window establishes different contexts for the system, by defining different labels for the fields and assigning the contexts to the existing windows. There is a list of predefined contexts to which you can add new ones.
