2.04. Scheduler

In the Scheduler window found in System Admin -> General Rules -> Server you can plan the automation of SocrateCloud processes. To create a new schedule you have to complete the following fields:

  • Name - introduce the name of the schedule

  • Process - the process for which the schedule is being created

  • Schedule - the frequency with which the process should run

    • Limitation: the hours that have been added in the schedule window are deferred according to the time zone

  • Supervisor - the User responsible for the respective process

  • Days to keep Log - the number of days the audit records should be kept in the system

  • Date Last Run and Date Next Run - the fields will autocomplete after the process is run

The schedule can be tested with the Test Run button. If the process is run without error.

In the the Parameter tab you may introduce the default values required for the process to run:

  • Process Parameter - select a parameter from the list

  • Default Parameter - introduce the default value as such:

    • Record ID - if the parameter is predefined (e.g: organization, accounting scheme, business partner etc.)

    • "Y" or "N" - if the parameter is a checkbox field

    • "CurrentDate" - to use the current date if the parameter is a Date field

In order for an outlined scheduler to run on predefined times, you have to load it in the Service Monitor window. This can be found in Tools Menu -> Tools -> Service Monitor.

To load all the records defined in the Scheduler window, press the button Start All.

Starting with v15.07, at every run, an e-mail containing the detailed log information will be sent to the allowed users.
