10.2.1. Subsidized Investments

Purpose

  • To keep track of the acquired equipments subsidized by the state, from the moment they were first planned until they were put into operation and the investment was recovered (together with all the accounting consequences).

  • To obtain the Estimated vs Realised report for these investments.

The subsidies are declared at asset level, by indicating some data in the Investment Details tab of the Asset (Customer) window, as described in the image below:

The accounts are set in the Accounting Setup tab of the Asset (Customer) window. If these are missing, the accounting definitions at asset group level will be used.

After saving these data, create investment rates. The system will generate distinct rates for each separate accounting schema. The obtained rates will be posted as per the rule:

Debit - Subsidy Acct.

Credit - Subsidy Revenue Acct.

Estimated Investments

The planning is used to:

  • declare an investment plan, for a certain time period, detailed on each separate investment that is due to be acquired, evaluated at a currency exchange rate established by the state (this does not change during the contract running period).

  • obtain a tabular list (a report including all the columns in the window).

Inside the window, you can use the Report button in the main toolbar. This will print all the columns in the order mentioned when pressing the button.

Realised Investments

  • This represents the process via which a planned investment becomes a fixed asset.

  • The resulting fixed asset is defined manually by the user in the Asset (Customer) window.

  • At primary definitions level for the fixed asset, make a link via the State Aid No, which

    • is a selection combo from the Estimated Investments window.

    • has zoom towards the respective entity.

The new Made Investments window:

  • declare the realized investments, detailed on each acquired equipment;

  • obtain a tabular list (a report with all the columns in the window).

"Made Investments" is a new document in this window, that contains the following information:

Instalment tab:

  • Instalment No;

  • Payment

  • Payment amount

  • Transaction Date;

  • Currency.

Details tab:

    • Link towards Asset (Customer);

    • There can be multiple lines for a master document.

Estimated Investments vs Assets

Only the lines with the Planned checkbox will be taken into account from the realised assets.
