1.3.3. Setup

SocrateCloud comes with a predefined set of fonts, colors and report table formats that can be used when defining a print format. If required, you can define additional such elements at tenant level, as described below:

Print Color

The Print Color window allows you to define specific colors that can be used when printing documents. The following fields are available:

• Name - relevant color name;

• Default - if checked, this will be the default color used when printing documents;

• Code - integer color code;

Font Color

The Font Color window allows you to define specific fonts that can be used when printing documents. The following fields are available:

• Name - relevant font name;

• Default - if checked, this will be the default font used when printing documents;

• Code - determines the font properties. Enter a text value with the following structure: font-ATTRIBUTE-Size

  • • font - mus be written with small characters and no brackets: e.g. sansserif;

    • Attribute: e.g. BOLD, PLAIN;

    • Size:e.g. 9, 10 ,11.

    • check the system fonts for reference.

Print Paper

The Print Paper window is used to define the actual size of the printed documents or reports. The following fields are available:

• Default - the paper will be useb by default on print formats where no print paper is selected in the Print Paper field;

• Landscape - determines how the page contents should be oriented: vertically or horizontally;

• Dimension Units, Size X, Size Y

• Top, Left, Bottom and Right Margin - distance between the edge of the printing paper and its content;

• Process Now - not implemented in the current SocrateCloud version;

Print Table Format

The Print Table Format window is used to define how printed reports will look like and contains options regarding color, font and table lines. The following fields are available:

• Default - the table will be used by default on print formats where no table is selected in the Print Table Format field;

• Header Row Color - color used to display column names;

• Header Row BG Color - color used for the table header background;

• Header Row Font - font used to display column names;

• Paint Header Lines - options to display header margin lines;

  • Header Line Color - type of line used;

  • Header Stroke Type - color of the line used;

  • Header Stroke - width of the line used;

• Paint Vertical Lines - option to display vertical lines between report columns;

  • Limitation: vertical lines will be displayed to the right of each report column;

• Paint Horizontal lines - option to display vertical lines on the report vertical margins;

  • Limitation: only applies to the left margin;

• Paint Boundary Lines - option to display lines under each report row;

• Paint Line Color - color used to display lines within the report

• Line Stroke Type - type of line used;

• Line Stroke - width of the line used;

• Print Function Symbols - option to display mathematical symbols for report functions (Sum, Average, Count). If selected, symbols will be printed - if not the name of the function will be printed;

• Function Font - color used to display the function;

• Function BG Color - color used to display the function background;

• Function Font - font used to display the function.
