The New Record window, found in the Application Dictionary menu, allows the application administrator to define new buttons for the K-Board windows (e.g. New Request, New Lead etc.) and to configure, at tenant level, which fields should be displayed in the window that will appear when clicking on one of these buttons: which are mandatory, ReadOnly, default, etc.
The system comes with pre-defined records, so if you want to create new ones at tenant level, you need to copy one of these.
The Search Key is mandatory and needs to be the same as that on the source document (it does not change when copying a record). The access logic for the defined windows is based on the search key.
For example, the New Request Restricted window can only be opened by the Customer Support role.
Enter a Name, select the Table used for the fields and the Entity Type.
Go to the Field tab to enter the fields that will be available in the window that will appear when clicking on the button, filling in the characteristics of the new fields.
