Markets targeted

SocrateCloud has been designed for distribution, retail and service industries. In the near future it will provide advanced functionality for manufacturing processes. It currently has basic workflow management for supply and production.

The manufacturing functionality is not fully developed: plant management and MRP (Material Requirement Planning) are currently unavailable. These features are under development and will include the most advanced concepts of MRP 3.

SocrateCloud is designed for large and medium-sized enterprises, with a turnover of up to EUR 500 million, as well as for private enterprises, distribution channels, stores, franchises, etc.

Differentiators

In order to achieve success in a changing market environment, it is imperative that you are able to make changes rapidly, at any time. This can make a difference. The following features set SocrateCloud apart from other applications:

Quick deployment

This can be done without irreversible settings. There is no need to analyse everything from the beginning, because you can change the implementation later on. Every decision is reversible.

Real integration

All data, CRM - Customer Relationship Management, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and Accounting are processed within the same transaction. There is no need for data transfer, data integration or data transformation. Users entering data do not have to worry about the information required for the CRM module, as it is processed automatically.

Errors kept under control

People usually try to prevent errors. However, no environment is entirely safe, as all of them contain a great deal of variables. You can expect technical errors and issues to occur. Therefore, we created an environment where errors can be kept under control, with quick recovery mechanisms allowing you to easily resume work and deal with issues.

Complete and easy to access

The system is complete, the Client/Server interface provides all the necessary components. It can be accessed via the web interface, which eliminates the need to implement any other client-side component.

Global market

With SocrateCloud it is relatively easy to build functions that allow you to operate in a global market, with different languages, currencies and accounting methods. The software is truly flexible.

Friendly user interface

Most windows and screens are generated based on rules and the data dictionary. This implies personalized access, providing users with what they need. As such, SocrateCloud recognizes that different people have different needs. The data dictionary-based approach allows for user-defined rules. All windows can be customized to display only the fields the user actually needs, which provides a greater flexibility than available in most applications.

Functionality limitations

Currently, SocrateCloud does not contain a complete Material Requirement Planning (MRP) module for demand management and production planning. However, it is possible to compute global demand, generate forecasts and perform basic resource planning. These limited features are currently under development.

In order to respect the warehouse discharge methods (FIFO, LIFO) primary documents must be processed in a strictly chronological order!
