in the in Calculations section (e.g. discount application)
manual entry overwrites the rounding rule
starting with v16.01, the rule also applies to prices on generated documents (e.g. through Generate Invoices - Process)
Line Amount, Grand Total, VAT Amount (document): "Standard Rounding" from the document's currency definition.
Accounting (Posting)
Quantity: "Standard Rounding" - UOM definition
Accounted Amounts: "Standard Rounding" - Accounting schema currency definition
Source Amounts: the amounts are taken directly from the source document

Internal calculations used to post the documents with quantities, that require the price to be specified (e.g. Material Receipt):
all intermediate amounts are calculated with the maximum number of decimals (25)
the final result will be rounded according to the source amount.
