The founder of the Roshanian movement was living in the time of King Akber Mongol (Moghul) in 16th Century. Bayazid was named Pir Roshan or the saint of Light because of his noble works for the goodness of all humans and the freedom of Afghans. He was a movement Leader as well as a fighter against the oppressive power of Mongols government of India.

One of his books Khair-ul-Bayan or Exposition of goodness is written in 4 Languages (Pashto, Persian, Arabic, and Hindi).He was Killed in a battle with Mongols troops in 1579 –but his struggle was continued.
