Physical Description: As small as a halfling, Kobolds have a vague draconic resemblance with scaly skin and draconic snouts. The scales adorning a Kobold match the varied colors of dragons; a Kobold with red scales being associated with a Fire Dragon, and so on. They tend to have yellow reptilian eyes, and long yet thin tails.
Associated Class: Kobolds do particularly well as Rogues and even Alchemists.
Associated Religions: Kobolds tend to venerate dragons, or worship draconic deities (such as Ghrohak).
History: Descendants of dragons, Kobolds are incredibly diluted Half-Dragons who have - through ages of selective breeding, effectively removed any traces of non-draconic DNA. This had the unfortunate side effect of reducing their size immensely, making them similar in height to a human child. Despite this, they carved a name for themselves in history as dutiful miners and productive in society. They most commonly interacted with Dwarves where they have a shaky but relatively cordial relationship.
In Morta IV: Kobolds are common sights in the modern era of Morta IV. They are widely respected due to their draconic heritage by non-dragons or those with little knowledge of dragons. Pure dragons and half-dragons however view them in a different light. Though not truly "disgusted" by their presence, the treatment they usually get from others they feel is unwarranted - likening it to believing a chihuahua is as capable as a wolf in hunting deer. Despite this, they tend to ignore Kobolds unless forced to interact, in which case they usually treat them with (at best) mild amusement.
