Physical Description: Tall and imposing Norse giants, the Jötunn are strong entities with features which resemble beings like the Einherjar and Norse Humans with their key difference being their incredible size compared to the two. They are also stocky individuals, covered in muscles.
Associated Class: Jötunn do well as any physical-based class such as the Soldier, Rogue, or Steam Knight.
Associated Religions: The Norse pantheon is their most common religion, following the likes of Odin, Thor, Tyr, and so on. Those Jötunn who are influenced by the dark arts will follow those like Loki, Hel, or Fenrir.
History: Being created in the earliest ages as beings which rivaled the tribes of Norse gods in power (the Aesir and Vanir), Jötunn were once very powerful beings who opposed them frequently, asserting themselves over the divine in an attempt to make an 'equal playing field' for themselves and the divine. This ended however with the Jötunn being defeated, however the Norse gods did not wish to exterminate their species due to how impressive the Jötunn were for lasting so long against what seemed like impossible odds. Instead, the gods weakened the Jötunn to be equivalent to mortals in power, both insulting and humbling the once proud species. They hold similar roles to Titans, becoming Godslayers in an attempt to relive their glory.
In Morta IV: Jötunn have since taken a backseat in the grand stage of mortal affairs in the modern world, being uncommon among the galaxy and found in small pockets where they have congregated since their defeat ages ago. Now in their current position they sometimes venture out into other planets where other species reside in order to either give assistance to those they can as an adventurer, or attempting to impose their will on mortals in order to become a ruler of sorts.
