Physical Description: Thin fungus men with spindly extremities and that function as hands and feet, and a head similar to that of a mushroom cap. Their colors vary and often match those colors of actual mushrooms.
Associated Class: The Fungus Warrior do well as both melee classes or magic classes, using either their impressive upper body strength or their deep attuning to their spirit.
Associated Religions: Fungus Warriors are often devoted to nature and deities of nature, preferring to devote themselves to druidism.
History: Created by the merger between fungi and spirits of the forests, Fungus Warriors grow in intelligence and become sentient in due time. Very few Fungus Warriors travel outside of forests and swamps however those who do are often trying to restore said areas taken by cities and development back to their former status, being overrun by nature. This has lead to a negative stigma surrounding the appearance of Fungus Warriors, granting them their common name in place of their own native name “Weiva-Triso” which is said to mean “Dirtspawn” in the ancient Sylvan tongue.
In Morta IV: In modern times, Fungus Warriors are few and far between outside of small enclaves in forests, interacting with fellow forest creatures and species that live there such as Centaurs and Elves. They have since calmed down much more, and interact far more pleasantly with other city-bound humanoids. Their relationship is still rocky on both ends; humanoids preferring not to interact with the “dangerous Fungus Warriors”, and Fungus Warriors viewing city-bound humanoids as “civilized savages” who wish to distance themselves from their true heritages in order to be more presentable to their other kin.
