Physical Description: Coming in many different shapes the fiery forces of hell are common supernatural entities, possessing many different skin tones and draconic or bestial features alongside their demonic and humanoid ones. They are however humanoid-shaped, and always have sharp, protruding horns.
Associated Class: Demons typically become Crusaders for their deity, however others become Soldiers or other physical or social-based classes to proclaim their deities’ greatness.
Associated Religions: Due to their means of creation, Demons typically worship an unholy deity. Some however break off from their unholy creation, following no deity or a holy deity to atone.
History: One of the first entities created by the gods, Demons were made by the unholy deities in order to serve deities of unholy origin. Each being’s demons are different in physical nature beyond the standard features and personalized to their unholy deities’ liking. Over the billions of years that they’ve existed, Demons have changed in their purposes and uses - from negotiators and deceivers to warriors and protectors.
In Morta IV: A common (and well deserved) stigma is attached to being of demonic blood, and full-blooded demons receive the brunt of this more-so than half-demons. Their purposes in the modern age serve more as negotiators and recruiters to unholy religions than fighting for them. This does not mean there aren’t those who fight for their god, but it has become less common as time goes on.
Demons who split off from their deity or unholy ties tend to be loners, wandering the galaxy in search of odd jobs and means to atone for any sins they may have committed prior. Otherwise, they search to help those in need. If their selfish inclinations haven’t left them, they instead seek out ways to benefit themselves such as making money or getting women. Demons who do this are seen as rogue by their fellow kinsmen, or misguided by angels and mortals inclined towards worshiping holy deities.
